Dek Unu Magazine, November 2018. Featured artist: Paul Harmon
Australia's Paul Harmon's very large format documentary landscapes tell the story of the effects of climate change, 100-year drought, and the struggling health of the Murray-Darling River System in New South Wales. This work, stunningly beautiful from drone's eye view, also reveals ugly truths of dispossessed people's stolen land, stolen water, inappropriate and illegal land use, and environmental degradation. After an award-winning career in film and TV photography, Paul has, for the last five years been solely committed to the practice of fine art photography and his jewel-like landscapes rightly belong on large...very large... gallery walls.
